In reference to the Technical Vocational Education Training (TVET) Circular no, ME/TVET O&M/02/24, the Academic Registrar Uganda Technical College (UTC) Kyema informs the general public that official TVET application forms for admissions to Diploma courses for 2024/2025 academic year (August/September 2024 intake) for government and private sponsorship is now available at the College or can be accessed here (Click to download application form) or the Ministry website or

Diploma Courses offered by the College include: National Diploma in Civil Engineering, National Diploma in Electrical Engineering, National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, National Diploma in Water Engineering and National Diploma in Architecture.


UACE – Senior Six (S.6) holders should have obtained at-least a Principle pass in either Physics or Mathematics and any two subsidiary Passes in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Technical Drawing, Mechanical or Building Geometrical Drawing and Economics or Fine Art for Architecture, obtained at the same sitting or at-least a pass in National Certificate or Advanced Craft Certificate in a relevant field


Applicants interested to study in UTC Kyema can pick the official TVET Diploma Application Form from the College or download the form the College or the Ministry websites above. Application Form filled in duplicate together with copies of certificates/result slips/transcripts and certified degree certificates for degree holders National Identity Card (for 18 years and above) or an Identification from the previous institutions (for below 18 years), appointment/ contract/recommendation of relevant work experience (if any) and Birth Certificate can be submitted to the office of Academic Registrar during working hours. All the applicants who meet the entry requires are expected to attend interview scheduled for 10th to 14th June 2024 at UTC Lira where UTC Kyema is clustered.

Note: All those who wish to study at UTC Kyema should attend the interviews at UTC Lira regional selection center to avoid inconveniences.
