ANNOUNCEMENT FOR VACANCIES:

The Academic Registrar Uganda Technical College Kyema announces vacancies for suitably qualified applicants in DIPLOMA and CERTIFICATE Programs for the Academic year 2023/2024 under the Private Sponsorship Scheme.

COURSES:

National Diploma Courses

1. National Diploma in Architecture
2. National Diploma in Civil Engineering
3. National Diploma in Electrical Engineering
4. National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
5. National Diploma in Water Engineering.

National Certificate Courses

1. National Certificate in Plumbing
2. National Certificate in Building Construction
3. National Certificate in Electrical Installation Systems &Maintenance
4. National Certificate in Automotive Mechanics
5. National Certificate in Welding & Fabrication.

MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION:

For National Diploma Programs: Should have passed S6 with at-least a principle pass in either Physics or Mathematics and any two subsidiary Passes in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Technical Drawing, Geometrical Mechanical/Building Drawing, Economics or Fine Art obtained at the same sitting or at-least a pass in National Certificate/Advanced Craft Certificate in a relevant field.

For National Certificate Programs: The minimum admission requirement is at least a pass in English, Physics, Mathematics, and any other science subjects or a pass in Uganda Junior Technical Certificate.

MODE OF APPLICATION:

Interested applicants can download the Application Form together with the Application Guidelines documents here and follow the application guidelines strictly for those applying online. OR physically pick application forms from the office of the academic registrar at the college Campus.

NOTE: Application forms are free of charge.

Filled Application Forms together with copies of all academic documents, National Identity Card or Identity Card from the previous school attended are required to complete the online application process.

You can also submit the filled application form with all the attachments to the office of the Academic Registrar during working hours.

Deadline for reporting for term one (1) for Certificate programs is Friday 31 March 2023.

Dead line for submission of filled application forms for Diploma programs is Monday 31 July 2023.
