Announcement for Both Government and Private Admissions for Diploma Courses for The Academic Year 2025/26
In reference to the extension of application deadline issued by the Ministry of Education and Sports dated June 19, 2025, the Academic Registrar Uganda Technical College (UTC) Kyema informs the general public that official TVET application forms for admissions for Diploma courses for 2025/2025 academic year (August 2025 intake) for government and private sponsorship remain open and still available at the College or can be accessed from the College website utckyema.ac.ug or the Ministry of Education and Sports website www.education.go.ug or TVET Operations and Management department website www.tvet.go.ug
Diploma Courses offered include: National Diploma in; Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Water Engineering and National Diploma in Architecture.
MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION:
Senior Six (S.6) holders should have obtained at-least a Principle pass in either Physics or Mathematics and any two subsidiary Passes in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Technical Drawing, Mechanical or Building Geometrical Drawing and Economics or Fine Art for Architecture, obtained at the same sitting or at-least a pass in National Certificate or Advanced Craft Certificate in a relevant field
MODE OF APPLICATION:
Applicants interested to study in UTC Kyema can pick the official TVET Diploma Application Forms from the College or download the form from the College or the Ministry websites above.
Application Form filled in duplicate together with copies of certificates/result slips/transcripts and certified copies of degree certificates for degree holders; National Identity Card (for 18 years and above) or an Identification from the previous institutions, appointment/ contract/recommendation of relevant work experience (if any) and Birth Certificate can be submitted to the office of Academic Registrar during working hours.
Filled application forms must be submitted by 01st August 2025 and All the applicants who meet the entry requires are expected to attend interviews scheduled for 4th to 8th August 2025 at UTC Kyema. It should be noted that those who applied using JAB forms are requested to re – apply.
